Lucy Ortiz

Medical Office Coordinator

With both parents originating from Puerto Rico, but born and raised here in Boston, Lucy is fully bilingual. She plays a vital role in the Latino Initiative as the Medical Office Coordinator and knows just about every patient in the program.

Apart from all of her other clinic activities, Lucy is available to help Latino patients with appointments and prescriptions, as well as transportation and insurance issues. She has also completed the training program at Joslin to assist in the Clinic as a Medical Assistant and often helps when needed.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys watching movies and dancing.
