Learn about Diabetes

Joslin's staff of physicians, nurses, nutritionists , exercise physiologists and educators have a great deal of information to share with you about how you can better care for and manage your diabetes.

In the pages of the Beginner's Guide and Joslin's Library they have done just that. The articles you will find have all been written by Joslin staff and are updated regularly. New articles are added frequently.

The Diabetes Words and Phrases are a useful tool to learn the meanings of diabetes-related words with which you may be unfamiliar. We'll add to these as well.

You will find articles about nutrition, physical activity, how to treat a low blood glucose or care for yourself when you are ill, how to avoid the complications of diabetes and numerous other topics.

And don't forget to check out Six Tests Help People Manage Their Diabetes and Prevent Complications and the new Videos that accompany the article.  Please visit the Library frequently and tell your friends and relatives about it as well.

Joslin Diabetes Center has been selected by TIME Magazine to provide articles for TIME's annual Special Diabetes Insert.  The most recent Insert was in the November 12, 2007 issue of TIME, and below are links to the articles included in the Insert, each of which was written by a member of Joslin's clinical staff.
