Research-Proven Results

Tested in Clinical Research and proven effective

The Why WAIT program has been tested in clinical research and has demonstrated many healthy benefits to overall health including weight reduction in people with diabetes.

Participants have lost an average of 10 percent of their initial weight (an average of 23 to 24 pounds) and 3 1/2 inches from their waistlines. They have kept that weight off for at least six months of follow-up.

The A1C measurements of participants have decreased almost 10 percent, from an average of 7.26 percent to 6.37. Their lipid and kidney profiles have also shown statistically significant improvements. (The exact research findings can be found here.) Changes like these reduce the likelihood of some of the long-term complications of diabetes.
