Joslin Goes Blue for World Diabetes Day 2012
Thursday, November 15, 2012
Nov. 14 was World Diabetes Day–a time to raise awareness about diabetes of any type, in any town, suburb or city, all across the world.
Joslin Diabetes Center employees sported blue clothing, while the Joslin building and the Massachusetts State House shone blue lights at dusk in honor of the day.
A list of nation- and worldwide events can be found on the websites of local branches of the American Diabetes Association, or on the International Diabetes Federation‘s website.
And even though World Diabetes Day 2012 is over, you can still help support Joslin’s ongoing mission to ensure that people with diabetes live long, healthy lives by giving $14 for the 14th! Visit the Joslin Give Today website to give your gift.
